Introduction

PCMark is a benchmark testing software developed by Futuremark company, mainly used to test the performance and stability of computers. PCMark evaluates the overall performance of a computer through a series of tests, including startup speed, application response speed, graphics performance, hard disk read and write speed, and provides users with a comprehensive performance evaluation result.
PCMark Vantage can measure the comprehensive performance of various types of PCs. From multimedia home entertainment systems to laptops, from professional workstations to high-end gaming platforms, whether in the hands of professionals or ordinary users, you can fully understand and maximize performance in the PCMark Vantage. The testing content can be divided into the following three parts:

1. Processor testing: based on data encryption, decryption, compression, decompression, graphics processing, audio and video transcoding, text editing, web page rendering, email function, processor artificial intelligence game testing, contact creation and search.

2. Graphics testing: based on high-definition video playback, graphics card processing, and game testing.

3. Hard drive testing: using Windows Defender, Alan Wake games, image import, Windows Vista startup, video editing, media center usage, Windows Media Player search and categorization, and startup of the following programs: Office Word 2007, Adobe Photoshop CS2, Internet Explorer, Outlook 2007.

Version information

The PCMark Vantage is divided into four versions:

1. Basic trial version: can only be used once.
2. Basic version: Provides PCMark score and online score browser (ORB), with no limit on the number of runs.
3. Advanced version: It can run all packages and has advanced online services. The test results cannot be used for commercial purposes.
4. Professional Edition: Only for commercial users, providing full functional settings and technical support. Viewing test results does not require networking, and can be tested in command line mode. The results can be imported into Microsoft Excel, providing comprehensive commercial authorization.

PCMark Vantage Minimum System Requirements:

1. Processor: Intel Pentium 4 or AMD equivalent model, supporting SSE2 instruction set.
2. Graphics card: Compatible with Shader Model 2.0256MB graphics memory, GPU graphics processing testing requires Shader Model 3.0.
3. Hard disk: 1.7GB of free space, in NTFS partition format.
4. Memory: 1GB.
5. Operating system: Windows Vista Ultimate Edition, Home Premium Edition, Home Basic Edition, Enterprise Edition, Commercial Edition, all available in 32/64 bits.
