A data field is a type of data that is defined based on the current project and has certain business implications. For example, we define a string with an ID of 32 bits, an amount of 18 integers with 6 decimal places, and a name with a string of 250 bits. It is mainly used to quickly set the data type of a field.
View data field: Click on the left data field navigation item, as shown in the figure:
New Data Field: Click on the left data field classification navigation item, as shown in the figure:
Edit data field: Double click an existing data field, as shown in the above figure:
The third item, data type, is the basic data type. After selecting the data type, set the length and decimal places. After setting the data field, when selecting this data field in the data table, the field data type and length will be specified, as shown in the following figure:

Right click on the database menu in the "Data Field" section of the left sidebar or the database icon in the upper sidebar to add a new database type, as shown in the figure:
Click on 'Add' in the pop-up window:
Click Add, select the data source, fill in the relevant parameters to establish a connection:
Click on test, if the test passes, the creation is complete.
