Introduction

TAPD (Tencent Agile Product Development) is a collaboration and software development management platform independently developed by Tencent. TAPD has accumulated Tencent's agile R&D culture, model, and practical achievements for over a decade, which can help enterprises collaborate efficiently and improve R&D efficiency

Since 2006, TAPD has been an important collaboration platform for Tencent's research and development system, supporting numerous core businesses such as QQ, WeChat, and King of Glory。

In May 2017, TAPD officially opened to the public, providing solutions for the whole life cycle of product research and development, supporting the whole process of research and development practices such as agile demand planning, iterative plan tracking, testing and quality assurance, and continuous construction and delivery, helping enterprises improve research and development efficiency and achieve Digital transformation and upgrading.

In October 2018, Tencent's agile collaboration platform TAPD was awarded the "Outstanding Science and Technology Progress Award" at the 2018 CCF Science and Technology Award. This award was awarded by the China Computer Federation (CCF), which aims to reward the basic achievements in technology research, technology development, technology innovation, and the promotion and application of advanced science and technology in computer and related fields, representing the recognition of the highest computer society in China。

In January 2019, TAPD version 5.0 was officially released, launching an integrated solution for enterprise digital collaboration and DevOps。

In March 2019, Tencent TAPD obtained ISO27001 certification and achieved international advanced level in information security management。

In May 2019, Tencent Enterprise Collaboration Platform TAPD was awarded the "Best SaaS Platform of the Year". This award is presented by the organizing committee of the 4th China SaaS Application Conference。

In June 2019, Tencent's agile collaboration platform TAPD was awarded the title of "Excellent Product" at the 2019 China International Software Expo. The "excellent products" of the Soft Expo were selected by the evaluation committee composed of academicians and experts from the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Sciences, including Ni Guangnan and Wu Hequan。

 At the beginning of 2020, TAPD opened targeted support programs for enterprises during the epidemic. Collaborate with national enterprises to fight the epidemic and assist them in achieving efficient collaboration across regions.

In March 2020, TAPD was selected as one of the first project resources for universities to carry out teaching during the epidemic prevention and control period by the Ministry of Education. Meet the cloud management of student practical courses, assist in the full cycle control of scientific research projects in universities, and continuously promote the construction of new engineering disciplines in universities.
