Introduction
SecureCRT is a terminal emulator that supports SSH (SSH 1 and SSH 2), which is simply software for logging into a UNIX or Linux server host under Windows.
SecureCRT supports SSH, as well as Telnet and rlogin protocols. SecureCRT is an ideal tool for connecting and running Windows, UNIX, and VMS. The transmission of encrypted files can be carried out by using the included VCP command line program. There are all the features of popular CRTTelnet clients, including automatic registration, maintaining different characteristics for different hosts, printing functionality, color settings, variable screen size, user-defined key bitmaps, and excellent VT100, VT102, VT220, and ANSI competition. Can be run from the command line or from a browser. Other features include text manuscripts, easy-to-use toolbars, user key bitmap editors, customizable ANSI colors, and more. The SSH protocol of SecureCRT supports DES, 3DES, and RC4 passwords and password authentication with RSA.
