Product installation varies depending on the method used:

Perform a simple download from Autodesk Account (manage. autodesk. com).

Customize installation from Autodesk Account to configure the installation program before downloading and installing.



Note: For most 2022 and later products suitable for Windows, you can configure the product in Autodesk Account before installation. For most product versions before 2022, the installation program should be downloaded and customized during installation.

Simple Download from Autodesk Account

Through a simple download, the product will be installed using the basic configuration.

Visit manage.autodesk.com and log in to your account.



From the "All Products and Services" tab in Autodesk Account, select the product and download method.

If you choose the 'Download' method, please run the EXE file (Windows), load the DMG file (macOS), or extract the TAR file associated with the product and version (Linux).

Note: For Windows, most 2022 and later products use the Autodesk Create Installer.


 

 

Run the small exe to create the installation program in the download folder. Download a self extracting SFX file for earlier versions.

Read and accept the license agreement.

Click 'Install'.

If you see the 'Product Language' dropdown menu, please select the language spoken by the customer. (If you cannot see the "Product Language" menu, you can download and install the language pack after installing the product.)


(Optional) Replace the default installation path with the new installation path (if this option is available).

After the installation is completed, close the installation program or start the product.

Customizing a standalone installation from Autodesk Account

Select 'Custom Installation' from the navigation pane.

Select the license type.

In the "Add Products" section, select one or more products to add to the custom package.

When selecting products, they can be customized in the right panel. You can choose the version to include in the software package. If a certain version is selected, the installation program for that version will automatically be included in the software package. You can also add optional applications or specify storage locations for content, including templates, materials, and graphics.

After selecting the required products in the custom package, click 'Next' to go to the 'Enter Package Details' section. (You can return to the previous step by clicking the title of the corresponding section.)

In the "Enter Package Details" section, enter the package name or use the default name. We suggest that you use a name that helps identify this software package when viewing the list, such as its target users or products included. Use a valid Windows file name.



 

(Optional) Enter a description of the software package.

Select 'Install', which will create the product software package to be installed on your own device. The 'Deploy' option will create product software packages to be installed on multiple devices.

Expand 'Advanced Options' to make other package changes, such as changing the default installation path.

Agree to the terms of use (in English).

Click 'Download' to download the custom software package executable file to the 'Download' folder or to another folder according to browser settings. The software package will be automatically saved in your library, and the page will return to the software package list. Click 'Save' to save the software package without downloading it.

Run the downloaded installation package.
